Here you see me again making a scrapbook page again. I take about 5-10 minutes to make one, so it's quick and easy to do (also in the spare minutes I have when waiting for friends to arrive). Jeee, that took me a long time to find out how I should upload a video. Trick was to first have it converted to an AVI file before I could flip the image 180 degrees and fasten it 4 times the normal speed. The original page was made in 11 minutes. It took me two full days to figure out which free video software I could use (Windows Movie maker simply won't start at my computer, which left me trying to find a good other free ware program for ages. I finally settled on Avidemux, which is a bit geeky, so I needed to discover what kind of output I needed and such. But I did it! More to come now I finally know how to do it. I tried to use lots of paint in this picture. I don't think it is a very good painting. The lady looks different in my painting compared with the picture. Here eyes are whiter and she must have more head, then I gave here. O well, silly girl.
I've forgotten whether or not I've published this painting before. Off course it is a total rip off, from Mr. van Gogh himself. But I thought it would be nice to share it with you anyways. It is so much fun to play with the thick layers of paint like van Gogh did. And only after you've created a picture of van Gogh yourself, you can fully appreciate the style in which his paintings were
The sunflowers I showed earlier, were not finished. Now it is. I borrowed the background from Van Goghs chair (which also has a door in part of the picture). The table is standing a bit silly in the room. It is not parallel with the door - or so it seems. It is almost like the furthest point of the table must prick into the wall. But I left it that way. Van Gogh also does silly things with his paintings when looking at perspective. The teapot is almost clashing in color with the yellow red appels, but still I left it as such.
Anybody interested in purchasing this painting (60x80, acryl on canvas)? Name your price and leave you contact details in the comment section. At painting lessons, the teacher set out a still life containing sunflowers, so here you are, my own version of the famous sun flowers by Van Gogh!
