I decided to collect all nice papers and already make stashes per week of papers that can be in my booklets. I loved organizing it all in the early morning sun!
I love taking pictures of my garden, they always show me perfectly the status of what once was. Here was my garden in march, boy how much it still need to grow to come to summer blooming.
I often like to add to a picture on the sides. You can be quite creative but have already also some guidance along the way on shapes and colors. Really lovely to do.
Sometimes you hit the scene just right, with the right colors and drawing lines (believe me, more luck than technique, but I'm happy).
Sometimes I get surprised by the effect of certain papers, like this wrapping paper, that did not take on my paints and inks in the green bits, but the white parts were fine.
I'm still not sure if I wish to be truly known on the internet, but this picture is from far away and so I think it is okay.
I can get just inspired by seeing all the stuff laid out in front of me that I can happily stick and paste in my booklets.

AuthorHi, I'm Bregtje. Here you can find me with my head between piles of paper, sticking stuff in arty albums and brushing away with paint. But I also can be found with my head in a newly home made cupboard or above the kitchen stove or even up side down in the garden! And now I'm developing a new hobby to add to my ever growing project list: blogging about it all! Please find my Garden blog, Kitchen blog, Homemaking blog and Art blog here! Archives
