I like dried flowers in the house. They are so easy. Never mind if I forgive to water them. Stay pretty and fragile all the way. I can stare quite some time at the petals, they are so colourful in all their shades of greyish pink, just wonderful.
Sometimes I wonder, what to do with all the paintings. I do give a lot away. Some, like this one, are not really gift-like paintings. But somehow, they do end up at the right spot. Like this one, in my bedroom, hardly seen by anybody but I. And now you. The secretive manner, a stolen kiss, a gfit on top of my closet.
Yes, I know. It is a bit silly, but I really had trouble figuring out where to hang my towels. And here it is, the perfect spot, against the heater. Who knew that this issue could be so easily solved.
Here it is, the grand entrance to my kitchen and living room. I like how my little room bathes in the sunlight, always warm and cosy.
I did it again: I build a second cupboard. This one is custom made to go round a pole. And yes, the second shelf is in two pieces because I was dumb enough to forget following my carefully set up plan that would have placed the self in the cupboard before I anchored the entire cupboard to the wall.
Years and years I have been wanting to make my own cupboards and kitchen. So when I bought my first house I started building (even though I had no keys yet - so the picture is taken in my old house). The movers did look a bit weird when they were transporting half build cupboards, but hey, it's my project.

AuthorHi, I'm Bregtje. Here you can find me with my head in a newly home made cupboard. But I also can be found with my head up side down in the garden or above the kitchen stove or even between piles of paper, sticking stuff in arty albums and brushing away with paint! And now I'm developing a new hobby to add to my ever growing project list: blogging about it all! Please find my Garden blog, Kitchen blog, Homemaking blog and Arts blog here! Archives
