Finally, spring is trying to break through to the cold dark days of winter. I decided to dig up my carrot patch, so that I can prepare that piece of land for a new sowing season. Sometimes it is a blessing to have such a sandy soil like I have. Because my carrots keep perfectly well under the sand during the cold winter months. I laughed out loud when I pulled up some of my carrots, they have such a funny shapes sometimes. Last year I planted more then a 100 flower bulbs, look at them go! And I discovered that I already get visited by my best friends, the lady bugs, hello there my little fellows!

AuthorHi, I'm Bregtje. Here you can find me with my head up side down in the garden. But I also can be found with my head in a newly home made cupboard or above the kitchen stove or even between piles of paper, sticking stuff in arty albums and brushing away with paint! And now I'm developing a new hobby to add to my ever growing project list: blogging about it all! Please find my Garden blog, Kitchen blog, Homemaking blog and Arts blog here! Archives
